Sometimes you need to network troubleshoot such as ping or traceroute from Synology.
You can do that and please follow these steps:
- Activated SSH Services on menu Control Panel – Terminal & SNMP :
- Connect SSH to Synology
- In terminal, type “sudo ping ip address” and then enter password for ping to the specified ip address
- In terminal, type “sudo traceroute ip address” and then enter password for traceroute to the specified ip address
