Problem :
When try to connect VPN using Cisco VPN Client software. Shown error : “Reason 442: Failed to enable Virtual Adapter”

Many article said it is because Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) was enabled. This problem occur in Windows Vista but I’ve experience this in Windows 2003 Server.

Solution :
Try to disable “Internet Connection Sharing” Service and try to connect again. This should solved this problem, but i have no confirmation if it works in Windows 2003 server.

Symptoms :
When connected to the VPN using Cisco VPN Client, I can’t browse network.

Cause :
This problem because you are connecting the internet behind firewall. It is often found when connecting using Mobile phone or connecting behind using internal address (NAT).

Solution :
Please tell the administrator or the ISP to open port UDP 500 (IKE Client) & UDP 4500 (IPsec-NAT-Client).
